I hosted a Hen Do at Low Jock Scar and hired the whole estate for 16 persons. This was a great experience, the grounds were lovely, in a quiet and secluded area and if we had had better weather, we would have loved to spend more time in the gardens! The houses themselves were very roomy and the kitchens had everything we needed. The hot tubs were in great condition and were kept tidy throughout our stay. Daryl was particularly helpful in making sure to answer any questions you may have. I would recommend booking this property!

Beautiful cottages .Hosts we’re lovely,Kerith emailed before we arrived and answered any questions we had, and had loads of suggestions for walks for us.We met Daryl on arrival who was lovely,very approachable, but left us to it.

Hot tub was very easy to use and a welcome perk of the stay.Well recommended place to stay.

We have just had the most wonderful family holiday staying at Low Jock Scar. We were a party of 18 ranging from age 9 to 80 celebrating a special family birthday. All the properties were great as we could all get together in Riverside but then those of us who wanted a bit of peace could slope off to the other cottages. We loved the hot tubs and used them everyday even the 80 year old had his first hot tub experience. The grounds are stunning with plenty of space for games and relaxing. The estate is well situated for major supermarkets (10 min drive), Kendal and access for days out to the lakes. We went on walks, kayaking and Zip World at Windermere, climbing and golf in Kendal and lazy days at the estate when the weather was at its best. The owners were very friendly and helpful on arrival and gave us our space to enjoy our holiday, knowing they were on hand if needed.
