Butterfly Cottage

Butterfly cottage is designed to provide light and bring the gardens into this beautiful cottage through the numerous windows.  The cottage has been built with traditional Lakeland stone to provide a modern yet country cottage experience. Butterfly entrance leads into a spacious open plan lounge and dining area and kitchen with breakfast bar.  The open plan layout is perfect for families and kept warm and cosy in winter by the log burner.  The large windows overlook the gardens to the front and rear and have the best view of the private woodland.  The bedrooms are generous with a ground floor king size ensuite bedroom.  Upstairs in the eaves are two spacious bedrooms and a bathroom, one king size and one twin.  There are patio doors from the kitchen leading to the outside picnic bench which catches the morning sun.  Perfect for alfresco breakfast.

The extensive grounds, for all Low Jock Scar guest to explore contain private woodland, stone steps leading down to the beck, large decking area on the river bank with seating and dining tables and BBQ.  There is also seating and picnic tables around the grounds.

There is ample parking outside the cottage and cycle storage on request.
